About AWG Accountants Limited

I am a Chartered Accountant who originally trained and qualified in Leeds, but relocated to the south west 10 years ago.

Many people think being an accountant is boring, but the interesting aspect of this field is helping people in business. Providing a proactive and approachable service is paramount in achieving this and also very rewarding.

I specialised in tax in 1998 and I have focused on this area during my career until setting up AWG Accountants. Tax is often seen as the important and value added element of business advice. However, it is crucial to take a holistic approach and ensure advice is rounded taking account of commercial and non-tax issues.

To me client care, service and meeting people from all walks of life and business are what makes it enjoyable.

I also present on external events bringing key tax issues to the audience in an informative and understandable manner – I hope!

To relax I have a penchant for travelling and aim to see as much of the world as I can as soon as I can! I also enjoy spending time with my husband and friends – going on as many holidays as I can!
